Steve started working with numbers and handling cash for customers at age 11 at his parents retail shop. He then started a career at ANZ Bank from High School in 1985 - after 10 years of banking he learned the inner workings of corporate banking from ledgers, teller, international, forex trading, exports & imports and lending.
After leaving the bank he worked for a publishing, advertising and marketing company for 6 years before returning to finance in 2001. Steve quickly became a senior broker of the company, which became one of New Zealand's larger residential and commercial mortgage broking businesses.
With his 10 years banking experience and a further 21 years experience as a mortgage broker/adviser, Steve has been there and has the know-how to help you, whether you are a first home buyer, second home buyer, investor, developer or business operator.
Steve soon became an expert in the hard to place home loans; mortgagee sales and clients in mortgage arrears or with credit impairment. It's because of this ability to find the best solution for a client's home loan many of Steve's clients refer their friends, family and business associates to him - see their testimonials.

In short, Steve intimately understands the trials and tribulations of finding the right property, arranging the finance and then building or renovating before you move in – because he's done it himself, not only for his family, but for thousands of other Kiwi families as well.
Doing the 'hard to place home loans' is Steve's passion by helping people arrange or restructure their home loans so they can achieve their dreams. He enjoys meeting with clients to discuss ways to help out in these challenging times, especially reducing debt so that you become debt free.
